Why It Requires Immediate Action?

While many people are aware of the challenges posed by water damage, few recognize the risks linked to comprehensive cleaning efforts.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) advises disposing of materials soaked for more than 48 hours in a water damage scenario to prevent the proliferation and spread of hazardous microorganisms throughout your home.

Make sure to take precautions such as promptly removing any damp or moist items after an incident to avoid potential exposure to contaminated air in the future.

In the event of any household disaster, be it natural flooding, pipe breakages, or other problems, it is crucial to eliminate anything submerged below the surface within 24-72 hours.

Our Flood Restoration Process

1. Inspection

Initial assessment of the flood damage and planning the restoration process.

2. Water Extraction

Removing all standing water using advanced vacuums and pumps.

3. Structural Drying

Removing hidden moisture from floors, walls, and substructures.

4. Cleaning & Sanitization

Cleaning and disinfecting all affected materials and items.

5. Complete Restoration

Repairs, replacements, and full restoration of your property.

Step 1: Inspection and Damage Classification

Our experts begin by inspecting the affected property to determine the extent and severity of water damage. This stage helps decide the appropriate restoration strategy and the urgency of response.

Classification of Water Damage:

Class 1: Minor moisture absorption — affects a small portion of a room (less than 5% of the property).
Class 2: Moderate water exposure — affects walls and full-room carpeting (5–40% of the property).
Class 3: Extensive damage — ceilings, walls, and flooring are heavily soaked (over 40% of the property).
Class 4: Deep water penetration into materials like hardwood, stone, or concrete — requires specialized drying techniques.

Categories of Flood Water:

Category 1 (Clean Water): Originates from clean water sources such as burst pipes or leaking taps. However, if not treated quickly, it can become contaminated.
Category 2 (Grey Water): Contains detergents, soap, or mild contaminants from appliances like washing machines or dishwashers.
Category 3 (Black Water): Highly contaminated and hazardous, often resulting from sewage backups or natural flooding. This type poses serious health risks and demands urgent attention.

Step 2: Water Extraction and Removal

Once the assessment is complete, we begin immediate water extraction using advanced vacuums and industrial-grade pumps. The goal is to remove all standing water as quickly as possible to prevent further structural damage and the growth of mould or bacteria. Our team carefully selects the right tools and methods depending on the severity of the flooding.

Step 3: Structural Drying and Dehumidification

After water removal, we move to the drying and dehumidification stage. This step eliminates hidden moisture trapped within walls, floors, and substructures. We use high-efficiency air movers and dehumidifiers to speed up evaporation and prevent mould growth. The drying process may take several days depending on the material type and damage extent, and it often includes wet carpet drying for complete moisture control.

Step 4: Cleaning and Sanitization of Affected Items

Once the area is dry, our technicians clean and sanitize all affected belongings. We handle every item — from furniture and drapery to personal clothing — with extreme care. Using antimicrobial and deodorizing treatments, we eliminate bacteria, odours, and contaminants. We also use HEPA air scrubbers to purify the air and improve indoor air quality during the restoration process.

Step 5: Complete Property Restoration

The final phase is restoration, where we repair or replace damaged structural materials like drywall, insulation, and flooring. For minor incidents, this may involve simple patchwork repairs, while severe cases may require wall replacements and repainting. Our team ensures every surface is restored safely, minimizing exposure to older hazardous materials such as asbestos or lead (especially in homes over 25 years old).

In some cases, slow leaks hidden within ceilings or walls can cause long-term mould buildup. These situations require specialized mould remediation and deep structural drying, which we handle with precision and care.
